CENTRAL DISTRICT HEATING

Through our production of biomass derived from processing waste, we feed various district heating plants located throughout the region. Thanks to our biomass district heating plant, built in 2003, we are able to make the village of Fondo independent from the energy point of view. In the production process, since 2016 the production of electricity has also been included, and now with which we can say that, from the point of view of energy, we are completely self-sufficient.

With district heating, a clean and renewable energy source, we have eliminated thousands of chimneys and polluting stoves, effectively reducing the presence of carbon dioxide in the air. The annual saving due to our intervention is 900,000 lt of diesel and therefore.

PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM

In 2011 we built a large photovoltaic system for the production of electricity, and with which we make a valuable contribution to the protection of the environment.The annual production of this plant is 600,000 kw of electricity, and which is used entirely by our production plants.
